How far in advanced do I need to place my cake order?
We require a 2 week lead time on custom order cakes. We can take last minute cake orders, however, it is based on schedule and availability.
Is there a fee on last minute cake orders?
Last minute cake orders (orders placed 7 days or less from the pick-up date) can be subject to a convenience fee if it is determined that special decorative items must be ordered to full fill the order or if there are very specific specialized fillings/flavors.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is available within a 25 mile radius of the bakery and is only offered for the state of Kentucky.
When do I pay for my custom order?
We charge a 50% deposit on all custom orders (cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and dipped treats). The remaining balance of the order is due 7 days prior to pick-up. Last minute orders (placed 7 days or less before pick-up) are required to be paid in full at the time of ordering. Orders are not considered placed until the 50% deposit is paid, or the full balance paid for last minute orders.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We are all about flexibility for out customers. Orders can be paid with Debit or Credit Card, Venmo, Apple Pay, Klarna, Link, and Cash.
Can I pick-up my Tiered Cake?
We offer pick-up for 1 and 2 tier cake orders. However, because of how delicate these cakes are, we require 3 tier cakes to be delivered by us to ensure the order arrives safely.
Can I make changes to my cake order?
We understands that plans change. We will happily assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible. However, it may not always be possible due to other bookings. We accept changes (flavors, fillings, and some designs) for your order within 7 days’ notice before delivery or pick-up date. This does not apply to wedding and groom's cakes, last-minute orders, or cakes with intricate designs. This is because for some designs our team may need to start working on design elements in advance to decorate your cake.
Can I cancel my order?
We accept cancellations up to a certain time frame. Please see terms and conditions for details on cancellations.
Are there refunds or returns?
We take pride in all our products. If you are unhappy with your order and/or purchase when picking up or within 24 hours of pick-up, working days, immediately notify us of your concern and return your complete order to us. No refunds are given on any orders unless the complete order is returned. Full refunds requested after the cake has been accepted and picked up will not be honored. You may qualify for a partial refund if the product is brought back and the quality of the cake is determined not to meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours of pick up - please call or email us promptly to let us know of the issue. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Sprinkle and Mix Baking Co. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for goods that have already been eaten. Special orders that are not picked up will NOT be refunded. Please see terms and conditions for more detail on refunds.
